Women’s World Cup Championship

The final match for the Women’s World Cup match was held in Vancouver BC Canada on Sunday July 5^th 2015.

Carli Lloyd of the US team was no less than phenomenal with 2 scores within the first 5 minutes. Holiday for the US scored the 3^rd goal. Carli Lloyd came back and scored another goal in the first half ,thereby scoring a first ever hat trick for the American team. This brought the Us team to a 4-0 lead and “the fastest 4 goals in Women’s World Cup history”. (mlssoccer.com).

The most amazing goal had to be a 60 yard strike by Carli Lloyd way past the halfway point of the field. WHAT A SHOT and will probably be played in the best of reels for many years to come.

The final of the game was USA 5 and Japan 2 going into the record books as the highest scoring Women’s World Cup final in history. A truly historic game and I hope you patriots had a chance to watch it. If not find the replays on the internet, well worth your time and effort.
