Vote the V?

A guest blog by Ben Frank

VoteV1Patriots, let me be frank. When we’re voting for President we are voting for a persona. Of course we would like that persona to be the personification of every single one of our personal ideals. But we know that is not going to happen. So we vote for a person who holds some of our key ideals and has the cojones to get the job done.

Some people have biases. They want a man or a woman or a Christian or a Jew or a Muslim or one of the many races of peoples that fall under their definition of what that race card means. (I mean, I’m sure some people believe Elizabeth Warren when she says she’s a Native American.) I, being a big fat white guy with money and influence, certainly have a leaning toward the like; RIGHT?! Not always. Should I always vote for the “P” and every woman should vote for the “V”? No! That’s not the responsible thing to do. For God’s sake Women, don’t vote for Hillary just because she’s a woman! Don’t just vote the “V” because you have one too. That is totally irresponsible.

That being said, quandar me this; how did Obama become President? If every single black guy in America voted for him he still wouldn’t have made it if people had not looked past their biases. You mean non-black people voted President Obama into office? Yes. It is true. There are so many non-racist people in America that the big left O made it in there in spite of his objectionable ideals. TWICE! Maybe non-whites can look past their biases as well and vote for white people this election.

So we see that people can look past their ideals and biases in order to have a leader who personifies a certain… persona. I would not mind voting for a woman if she were the persona we needed right now. Yes! I’m saying that persona means a LOT! The characteristics of that persona that a person imbues tend to run along distinct personality trait lines. You can check your personality traits with an MBTI personality test. Like Karl Marx, Hillary Clinton is a misunderstood INTJ personality type. They tend to be scientists. They are fact-based and soulless. Heck, she didn't even cry at her best friend's funeral, but Bill did. INTJs don’t usually make the best leaders because they really don’t care about YOU either.

Like Alexander the Great, Winston Churchill, Teddy & FD Roosevelt, Patton, Andrew Jackson and a slew of other great leaders (& a few infamous ones), Donald Trump is an ESTP personality type. They are not just great executives; they are tremendous visionaries as well. Don’t get me wrong. I love the facts. But we need a little VISION & LEADERSHIP here and now. I hope he embodies every concept I hold dear, but that would be pretty self-righteous of me to hold anyone to that. I know it’s hard to believe that there are any self-righteous conservatives, but there are some out there; trust me. I hope they will see past Trump’s “flaw” of not embodying every conservative belief that they do. I hope they don’t stay home, in effect voting for Hitlery. I hope they don’t join the “Never Trump” crowd and thwart the Republican race, i.e. voting for Hitlery. I want them to very steadfastly go to the polls, do the right thing and pull that lever for whomever the Republicans have nominated.

Don’t imagine that Hitlery’s fascist followers will be sitting at home ashamed that she’s such a criminal. They feel like she and Bill are a modern day Bonnie & Clyde. Their devotees thrive on the hope that these two crooks live above the law. It’s not that they feel that the email thing is a small matter or that she’s even innocent; they hope and pray she will simply get away with this huge crime against America.

So get out there Patriots, and vote Republican. Don’t vote the “V” or we’ll end up with a “C” for president!!!
