Ted Cruz | Top Gun | Wisconsin
Ted Cruz was on a town hall meeting with Anderson Cooper in Milwaukee, Wisconsin recently on March 28th 2016.
The show is called Anderson Cooper 360 and was staged at the aforementioned town hall meeting. The format was Anderson Cooper asking questions of all the Republican candidates with each answering the successive questions. The candidates were on at different times and there were questions from the audience as well. The only meeting I watched was Ted Cruz, although it would probably be better for comparison purposes to watch all three programs. I just couldn’t stand that much political mumbo jumbo in one setting, so the report is about the most conservative and stalwart candidate in my humble opinion.
First of all, right before the meeting I had heard Wisconsin’s Governor Scott Walker had endorsed Ted Cruz, I personally think that is a big deal. I thought Scott Walker was a great presidential candidate and was unfortunate he is not in the final running. He has a proven record of standing up to the liberal-communists without buckling under pressure like the rest of our linguini-spined Republicans. Anyway that endorsement plus campaigning has Ted up at least 10% points above Trump. Walker claims if Cruz wins in Wisconsin it will change the whole dynamics of the election, I’m certainly good with that scenario because I think he follows the constitution how it was written.
Anyway, Mr. Cruz answered a lot of questions about policy issues throughout the interview and I feel he did an excellent job. He addressed whether or not there would be a contested convention, he stated that the RNC has a rule, #40, that says that a candidate must win at least 8 states to be considered as the Republican candidate, let’s hope they don’t forget about their own rules. With that rule the only 2 candidates that are eligible are Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. Ted said he would beat Donald just on substance and policy matters without resorting to personal attacks and insults (I wholeheartedly agree). We as Americans are sick of petulant attacks and third grade antics (you’re fat and ugly, no you are etc., You fill in the rest).
They went over a lot of policy issues from illegal immigration, terrorist attacks, the NEA (National Education Association), common core, foreign policy, economy and the overall malaise of this broken country. I loved all of his answers and he is just the best candidate, so Patriots get out there and support him with your donations or physical support!!
