Patriots if you like Sci-Fi Action movies, go see Mad Max Fury Road. This film is billed as the “best action movie of all time” this might not be the exact by-line but you get the gist of it.
The movie is non-stop action, i.e. cars and trucks racing each other and tremendous spectacular crashes. Special effects and imagination are second to none. This film is set in post-apocalypse Australia like the original Mad Max starring Mel Gibson. The current rendition stars Tom Hardy as Mad Max and Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa. These two anti-heroes basically reluctantly team up to flee from a tyrannical ruler named Immortan Joe. Immortan Joe pursues them across a great expanse of Hell’s back yard.
If you like cool looking bad-ass vehicles, heavy metal and a lot of action you’ll love this movie. If your movie taste has to have a little more intellectual stimulation you might not like it. The Minuteman liked it because the good guys win in the end, and who doesn’t like constant mayhem and watching stuff blow up!
