Today is Tuesday February 2^nd AKA Groundhog Day. Patriots the most famous groundhog is known as Punxsutawney Phil and resides in Punxsutawney Pennsylvania. Our rodent weatherman made his prediction at dawn this morning. He failed to see his shadow and thus predicts an early spring. Well, I don’t believe it, I think we have some winter to go, but that is just a gut feeling. Besides their prognostication method makes absolutely no sense, if Phil doesn’t see his shadow means an early spring, if he sees his shadow (sunny) means 6 more weeks of winter. To me it should be exactly the reverse, if you were using logic.

Groundhog day started in 1887 and a groundhog has predicted an early spring just 18 times (like this year) and 6 more weeks of winter 112 times. In other words the preponderance of predictions have been 6 more weeks of winter. I still think we are going to get more winter.
