EPA Spill Disaster Aftermath
You may or may not remember the EPA spill disaster in Durango, Colorado last month. A friend of mine was concerned about what happened with this story and I said I would see what I could find out. Unfortunately I don’t have any other resources other than the internet. I couldn’t find any story other than a week past the incident.
The acronym EPA stands for Environmentalist Pees A yellow river. This is what you get when you have bureaucrats running anything. They completely screw up the situation, as evidenced by this environmental situation. I read two separate accounts of how much mine waste was spilled into the Animas River near Durango, Colorado. One rendition was reported by CNN, which they said the EPA spilled 1 million gallons of toxic waste into the river. Another story by Energy and Environment said they spilled 3 million gallons of toxic waste. I tend to believe the latter report.
The toxic waste consisted of iron, zinc, arsenic and copper. The idiots with the EPA were supposed to be cleaning up the Gold King mine and as usual with government incompetence they bungled the job and knocked open a seal at the mine that had been there for at least ten years. The bumbling incompetents with the EPA can’t do anything right, but they will fine a company and put them out of business in a heartbeat. My question to my fellow patriots is what kind of fine did they pay and who got fired for this disaster. I suspect nobody was fired and no fine was placed upon the EPA. This is not fair and they shouldn’t be above the law, what we need to do is get rid of most of these alphabet agencies. I hope the next president will clean this mess up, metaphorically as well as physically.
This spill has been an economic and environmental disaster for southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. No telling how many wildlife deaths it will cause not to mention long term health problems for the residents of this region. The people affected by this disaster should put a collective lawsuit against the EPA and the people directly responsible for this massive spill. Stand up to the Government Hypocrites!!
